10 Things I Learned Taking Applied Windows Server Administration at The University of Winnipeg – PACE

Introduction

I’m halfway through my 16-month Network Security Diploma program at The University of Winnipeg – PACE. Recently, I completed the Applied Windows Server Administration course. In our digital era, cybersecurity is paramount. This course prepares students to safeguard operating systems, applications, and data in an ever-changing threat landscape.

Let’s explore the ten key lessons I gained from this course.

Personal Insight

Throughout my journey in the Applied Windows Server Administration course, one of the most memorable moments was when I successfully configured a group policy that streamlined user access control. It was a satisfying experience to see how a well-designed policy could enhance security and efficiency within a Windows Server environment. This hands-on achievement highlighted the practical skills and knowledge I gained during the course.

Conclusion
